Pastor Alvin returns this week for an amazing sermon on the purpose of Pentecost… POWER! Once we are saved, the POWER of God is made available to us through the Holy Spirit. But understanding this POWER requires us to know the difference between God's permissive will and Gods perfect will. It also demands that we know it is the will of God that the church has power, and not in theory but in reality.
Through this sermon, Pastor Alvin teaches us what it means to have the power of God active in our lives and provides the ABC's of learning to live in the power Jesus made available to us.

This week our guest speaker, Shannon Smith, returns for another timely message titled "I Need the Whole Package," where she speaks about unpacking the birth of the Church and what it means to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, not as an add-on to your faith, but as something God always intended for every believer. Just like Peter, who loved Jesus deeply but still couldn't do what God called him to do in his own strength, we were never meant to build the Kingdom on our own. Shannon reminds us that Jesus didn't call us to be lawyers. He called us to be witnesses. And when you operate under the power of the Holy Spirit, you get supernatural results.

In this sermon, guest Pastor Pablo Martinez teaches on the keys to the kingdom, righteousness and surrender. Righteousness is the key to the door of peace while surrender is the key to the door of freedom. Pastor Pablo reminded us that real peace isn't something we manufacture from the outside in. It starts with being right with God. He also gets honest about the difference between being healed and being truly free, and why so many of us are still carrying what God already paid for.
Perhaps what you've been waiting for is sitting behind the door of peace or freedom!

"Just keep on praying, the Lord is nigh. Just keep on praying, He'll hear your cry. The Lord has promised and His word is true. Just keep on praying, He'll answer you."
Our Founding Pastor, Pastor CeCe, sang as she encouraged not just mothers, but everyone to pray no matter what.
Drawing from Matthew 15, Philippians 4, and more, Pastor CeCe walks us through seven marks of a praying mother and reminds us that prayer isn't a last resort. It's the first response. She challenges us to keep going when God feels silent, to push past opposition, and to worship while we wait. Because silence isn't the end of the story. God is still working.

We are excited to have Pastor Steve Blair with us from Church of the Highlands in our Guest Speaker series teaching on the title, "From Oaks to Ashes". Drawing from Isaiah 61, Pastor Steve reminds us that God doesn't start with broken systems. He starts with broken hearts. Sin robs us. But God restores, and through three divine exchanges, he offers a Crown of Beauty for Ashes, the Oil of Joy for Mourning, and a Garment of Praise for the Spirit of Despair. He doesn't just remove the ashes. He replaces them with dignity. Joy isn't a feeling we wait on. It's a discipline we walk in. And when we make these exchanges, we become what Isaiah calls oaks of righteousness. Rooted. Steady. Rebuilding. Oaks don't just feel different, they live different. Whatever weight you're carrying, this message is for you. Heaven wins, and God wants to make that exchange with you today.

In this message titled Don’t Underestimate the Process, Pastor Alvin reminds us that following Jesus isn’t just about where we’re going, it’s about how we get there. Through passages like John 10:4-5 and 1 Corinthians 3:10-15, we see that both God and the enemy may point to similar outcomes, but the difference is always in the process. God’s way leads through obedience, humility, and trust. The enemy’s way often shortcuts what God has said, pushing us toward disobedience and immediate gratification. This message challenges us to look deeper than what’s visible. Are we building our lives on what people see, or on what God sees? Because in the end, everything will be tested, and only what’s built on the right foundation will remain. Don’t ignore the process. Don’t harden your heart. What you build today is shaping what lasts forever.

In the first installment of the series on eternity, Pastor Alvin walks through the story of the rich man and Lazarus to challenge how we view success, comfort, and eternity. Through this passage, Jesus confronts us with a sobering truth. What we experience now is not the full picture. Life on earth is temporary, but eternity is not. This message challenges us to examine our hearts, stay hungry for what’s beyond this life, and make decisions that last forever. Because what you gain now is not worth losing what God has prepared for later.

In this message titled Now or Later, Pastor Alvin unpacks the tension between living for what we can receive now and what God has promised later. Jesus makes it clear that both are available, but we don’t get both. This message challenges us to examine our motives, trust that God is a rewarder, and choose what lasts over what’s immediate. Because what God has prepared for you will always be worth the wait.
